How to maintain your bathroom tiling

Once you have bought the perfect tiles to give your bathroom the much needed new look, you would need to take good care of the tiles in order to maintain their shine and color. It may be hard work, but it needs to be done if you want to ensure that your new tiles last long.

A tile specialist could always bring back the shine to your bathroom floor tiles, whatever the texture or material may be. All it takes is a bit of polishing. You may also want to replace the grout every few years.

Using detergent or a good cleaner with a sponge will help you get rid of most stains and any dirt on the tiles. Be careful not to use any harsh chemicals as it may leave spots and patches on the tiles.

The cloth or sponge you are using for cleaning tiles should not be of coarse material, so as to not scratch the tile.

Based on what type of tile you have used, keep in mind that some tiles can easily chip. Be mindful of this when pushing things around in your bathroom.

Testimonials

“We recently renovated our tied and out of date bathroom with Tubs and Tiles. The end result was exactly what we were hoping for. Every tradesman on the job performed their task with absolute perfection and we were very impressed with all of them, from the tiler, electricans, cabinet maker and painter. Phil and Janelle, the owners of Tubs and Tiles, “bent over backwards” to ensure all jobs were done on time, helped us with product choices and followed through at every stage. We would highly recommend Tubs and Tiles to any of our friends and family, and should we need to renovate our other bathroom, they will be the first, and only, company we call.”
